A living testimony of the impact this program has made to our most recent scholar graduates.
As thanksgiving to our hardworking leader, Governor Henry S. Oaminal, and to his personal educational program "One Family, One Professional", we proudly present these amazing graduates from our municipality, the beneficiaries that made great fruit of the program. We are forever grateful to the opportunity given to our scholar-graduates that has provided them the head start to reaching their life dreams. The Municipality of Calamba, Misamis Occidental is beyond gratified for allowing our youth to be included in such program.

DISTRIBUTION OF CASH & FOOD ASSISTANCE TO OUR FIRE VICTIMS
On June 25, 2024, the distribution of assistance to the fire victim of the June 22, 2024 incident in Purok 2 DBAN Calamba, Misamis Occidental took place. Eleven families were affected by the fire, including Gloria Manaquil, Roel Tutong, Merian Arce, Mylene Lumayog, Elsa Duhaylungsod, Ema Carsaban, Leonida Ong, Hazel Gwen Mananquil, Cosila Lumapac, Jacquelyn Minerales, and Nicefora Arce. Each family received financial assistance, 5,000 from Congressman Jason P. Almonte, 10,000 from Provincial Government and 10,000 along with Hygiene kit, Kitchen Kit and Sleeping Kit from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The distribution event was held at Calamba, Municipal Altrium and attended by several dignitaries, including Municipal Administrator Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva, Vice Governor Hon. Rowena Guiterrez, Board Member Donna Iyog, Alex Guantero Jr., Agnes Villanueva, and Tata Paylaga Lim.
During the event, Vice Governor Rowena Guiterrez and Municipal Administrator Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva delivered inspiring message, extend their deepest sympathies to those affected by recent fire. They emphasized that the entire community stands with the victim and is committed to providing support and assistance in any way possible.
The aimed of the distribution of cash assistance is to help the fire victim to cope with the losses. The victims expressed their gratitude to Governor Henry S. Oaminal for his support and financial assistance during this challenging time.

DISTRIBUTION OF RICE FARMERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (RFFA) 4 & CEREMONIAL TURN-OVER OF AGRICULTURAL INPUTS
On June 26.2024, the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region X, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, initiated the Rice Farmers Financial Assistance Program. This event was held at Municipal Gymnasium led by Governor Henry S. Oaminal, along with Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Municipal Mayor Hon. Haneya Theresa Yap Chiong, Board Member of District 1, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Antonio Lawas and the Sangguniang Bayan Member.
Farmers from the Municipal of Calamba and Baliangao farmers , 217 farmers from municipality of Calamba received, PHP 5,000 each in unconditional cash assistance , as pledge by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., under the Rice Farmer Financial Assistance (RFFA) program. This program, an initiative of the Department of Agriculture is an unconditional cash transfer program aimed at aiding rice farmer and supporting agricultural development.
The farmers expressed their gratitude to Governor Henry S. Oaminal for the cash assistance and additional support, including free seeds (binhi), fertilizer (abono), and tractors for their farms.
GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE PAMBANSANG PABAHAY PARA SA PILIPINO (4PH) PROGRAM
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Pambansang Pabahay Pasa sa Pilipino (4PH) program took place on Febrauary 18, 2024, led by Governor Henry S. Oaminal and several distinguished guest. Among them was police Major Edgar Alan O. Okubo, who serve as a guest speaker, alongside DHSUD Regional Director Ariel Abragan, MNSA Randy Apdujan, Municipal Mayor Hon. Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Municipal Administrator Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva together with Hon. Mayor Andrea Cherry Pinky L. Gutierrez, Hon. Mayor Gadwin E. Handumon in Plaridel, Hon. Mayor Haneya Theresa Y. Chiong, Hon. Mayor Donjie Animas in Sapang Dalaga. Additonally Sangguniang Bayan Members, head of officies in Local Government of Calamba with the 19 Barangay Captain of Municipality of Calamba attended the event.
The 4PH project, with a valued at 1.10 billion pesos, is known as the Green Hills Village. It covers total lot area 11, 093sq.man comprises five buildings with six floors each. Each building contains 149 units, totaling 745 units. Situated in Northern Poblacion, Calamba, Misamis Occidental, the project aim to provide housing solution to Calambahanons seeking for affordable accommodation and viable housing option.
During ceremony the Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA and Regional Director Ariel B. Abragan signing of memorandum of understanding, while Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA and Mr. Randy M. Apdujan signed a memorandum of agreement .The Groundbreaking Ceremony was attended with P/MGen. Edgar alan O. Okubo, Governor Henry S. Oaminal, Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B.Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Mr. Randy M. Apduhan and Mr. Kik beng Him.
Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanue Jr., MNSA, expressed the gratitude to President Marcos Jr. to and the DHSUN team for supporting the 5Ms thrust of the Asenso Administrator and empowering Local Government Unit to address shelter woes. Under Department Circular 2023-2024 the Development of Human Settlement and Urban development (DHSUD) grants authority to partner LGU’s to execute and implement measure to bridge their respective housing gaps under the 4PH program.
