Five hundred twenty four hectares is devoted to rice, 348 hectares for corn and 4,785 for other crops such as coconut, fruit trees, vegetables and root crops.     Irrigation facilities increases the area served from 80.30 hectares to 92 hectares. Multi Purpose Drying Pavements used for drying farm products increase from 14 units in year 2001 to 22 units in year 2005.

The livestock industry is also increasing due to the dispersal and redispersal program provided by the LGU and other sectors.

The area of production for inland fisheries increases from 0.25 hectares to 1.8 hectares.

Many of the farmers before kept on producing root crops without a marketing contract hence the cost and return analysis is very minimal and even resulted to a negative return. Recently, the LGU of Calamba adopted the One-Town-One-Product “OTOP” program and encourages the farmers to plant cassava with a marketing tie-up with the San Miguel Corporation.
