Inauguration and turn-over ceremony of the fruit stands

at Calamba Public Market

Last December 2, 2014, the inauguration and turn-over ceremony of the 16 fruit stands at Calamba Public Market. This

project has benefited 16 small business owners who want to improve their livelihood.

Rev. Father Renato Galindo of Philippine Independent Church initiated the blessing ceremony.

Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva led the cutting of ribbon and ceremonial turn-over. The blessing and cutting of ribbon signify the formal handing of responsibility of the said fruit stands from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Calamba to the fruit stand owners.

The Local Government Unit of Calamba allotted for the labor and materials used for the stalls. Mayor Villanueva delivered her speech during the blessing and she reminded the stall owners to maintain and take good care of the stalls.

Together with Mayor Villanueva are the Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Antonio N. Lawas, Hon. Joseph C. Malayao, Rodrigo T. Garcia, Hon Juan T. Jumalon along with Mr. Erwin B. Omandam the designate Market Supervisor.
