The celebration of the 67th Araw ng Calamba includes sports activities. The games are basketball, billiards, chess, 1st karatedo tournament, sepak takraw, tennis and volleyball for men and women categories. 
After the Flag Raising, Interfaith Thanksgiving Service and Opening Salvo, the LGU employees prepared for the sport activities that also highlight the celebration. The first event of the week is volleyball for men and women categories.
While students from elementary (Category C ages 12 below), High School and College (Category B ages 13 above) enjoyed the chess tournament along with adults players (category A). 
Two of the most exciting games that sports enthusiast enjoyed watching were the amateur billiard and chess tournaments. The two (2) sports held in front of the Rural Health Unit Office. The motorcab drivers enjoyed watching it while waiting for the motorcab passengers. 
The sepak takraw events followed right after the volleyball events on the quadrangle area while the basketball held in the evening. 
On the last day of one week celebration (February 14), the 1st Mayor Cup Karatedo Tournament match which is a new sports offered for the Araw ng Calamba celebration brought a closer fights and eagerness among the karate enthusiasts. 
The sports events held during the Araw ng Calamba can be a training opportunities for those who are aiming to join National and International sports events/competitions. 
All the sports events brought camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork from the players as well as the organizer of the said events which was the Local Government Unit of Calamba headed by the Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva.

Community Based Rehab Program Culmination Day
The municipality of Calamba Spearheaded the Oplan Tokhang's Community Based Rehab Program Culmination day. On February 9, 2018 at Moelci I. It the program started with a reflection given by Rev. Pastor David Cunahap of Bible Baptist Church, and it was followed by Dr. Rodolfo C. Borbon and he certifies that the surrenderees has completed the 180 hours rehab and has not taken the Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or also known as shabu along the rehab. Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva, the PDEA Provincial Officer, the DILG Provincial Director, PNP Provincial Director also given their messages on the surrenderees and it was followed by Giving of Certificated and Food Packs. The Program was closed by Hon. Antonio Lawas by his closing remarks
