The Blessing of 1 unit newly acquired HINO firetruck of Calamba Fire Station was spearheaded by our Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. MNSA along with Municipal Vice Mayor Antonio N. Lawas and Sangguniang Bayan Members . The local government unit of Calamba led the blessing of the new Fire Truck last June 11, 2022. The new Firetruck unit will help mobilize the safety and security presence in the municipality. Leading the event was Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. MNSA , Municipal Mayor of Calamba together with the Municipal Administrator Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva, and Sangguniang Bayan Member. Witnessing by the LGU employee.

Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly elected officials for the year 2022

The Municipality of Calamba held its Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly elected officials for the year 2022. The Program started with a solemn invocation by Pastor Cunahap followed by our National Anthem and the Calamba March Performed by Engr. Jofel Emmanuel T. Quiza and followed by a warm welcome message by our outgoing Mayor Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva followed by the Introduction of the Inducting Officer by Mae Flores.

The Inducting officer Judge Michael L. Ajoc delivered a simple message to the elected officials, after his message he conducted the Administration of the Oath of Office to newly Elected and re-elect SB Members.

Then it is followed by the Administration of the Oath of Office, Hon. Antonio N. Lawas, Sr. the re-elected Municpal Vice - Mayor of Calamba and followed by Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. MNSA which also took oath as the Municipal Mayor of Calamba.

After the Oath Taking Ceremony Mayor Elect Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. MNSA give his Inaugural Address.

2022 Newly Elect Municipal Officials of Calamba, Misamis Occidental”

The Calambahanons was so excited to know the new set of elected officials that would lead the Municipality of Calamba, Misamis Occidental. After months of campaigns finally the Municipal Board of Canvassers headed by COMELEC Registrar Ana Carmen Bueno proclaimed the new set of elected officials last May 09, 2022.

Dr. Luisito Bergado Villanueva Jr. MNSA won the Municipal Mayor Position and garnered 7,885 votes or 61.59 % of the total no. of voters actually voted against contender SB Member Hon. Joseph Malayao with 3,619 votes or 28.27% of the total no. of voters actually voted. The Municipal Vice Mayor is still Hon. Antonio Lawas Sr..

Election Officer Ana Carmen Bueno also proclaimed the newly elect Sangguniang Bayan Members: (according to rank) newly elect and number one (1) Sangguniang Bayan Member Cesar Ian Enerio then followed by newly elect Sangguniang Bayan Member Gary Arapoc, Reelect Sangguniang Bayan Member Dennis Bunao, newly elect, Sangguniang Bayan Member Atty. Prince Junel Sevilla, Reelect, Sangguniang Bayan Member Caridad Angging Lansang, newly elect Sangguniang Bayan Member Dondon Valdehueza, newly elect, Sangguniang Bayan Member Sammy Ford Lansang and Reelect, Sangguniang Bayan Member Cherry Magsayo.

The In-coming Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. was thankful to the constituents for trusting and giving him the opportunity to lead the municipality and to continue outgoing Municipal Mayor Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva’s vision for the Calambahanons.
