 THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF CALAMBA, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL RECEIVED RECOGNITION OF THE SUPPORT RENDERED DURING THE HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE FOR THE TYPHOON YOLANDA VICTIMS 
 
The Local Government Unit of Calamba received a Plague of Appreciation from the Headquarters of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division Philippine Army of Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. The Plaque of Application is given to LGU Calamba particularly to all the Calambahanon    for the immense contribution and invaluable service rendered during the Humanitarian 

Assistance and Disaster Response Operations for the typhoon Yolanda victims. 

The awarding rites held during the 78th Founding Anniversary of the Headquarters of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division Philippine Army of Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur last May 7, 2014 at the. The plaque was signed AFP Commander Major General Felicito Virgilio M. Trinidad, Jr. 
 
Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva accepted the plaque on behalf of the LGU and the Calambahanon. 
 
When typhoon Yolanda devastated the Visayas Region, the Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental headed by Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva organized support for the typhoon Yolanda victims with the local business sectors and individuals that donates and help repacked relief goods.
