The tech4ED Project Launching, and ribbon cutting of the new tech4ed centers was started with an invocation and followed by the opening remarks of our municipal mayor Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva and after her message after that Mr. Felix Tabanao and Mr. Eugene C. Raposala III DICT(Department of Information Communications and Technology) staff gave their message and how tech4ed works and functions of how they can help our town.  There will be public wifi hotspots known as the JUAN KONEK and it will be available in these locations soon. The Tech4ED Project provides access points for individuals and communities to bridge the digital and education divide. It promotes grassroots development and opportunities for inclusive growth and poverty reduction. It will give communities access to information, communication, technology, government services, non-formal education, skills training, telehealth, job markets, and business portals

                   GROUNDBREAKING 2017

 

On September 6, 2017, The Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental along with the KALAHI CIDDS NCDDP took part of the SUB - PROJECT MASS GROUNDBREAKING, wherein 7 barangays were choosen to be the beneficiary. The Choosen barangays are, Barangay Northern Poblacion Construction of 907 In. m. Drainage Canal, Barangay Southwestern Poblacion Installation of 40 Units Solar Street Lights, Barangay San Isidro Concreting of 370 In. m. Farm to Market Road, Barangay Dapacan Alto Concreting of 350 In. m. Farm to Market Road, Barangay Calaran Construction of 51 sq. m. Barangay Health Station, Barangay Solinog Installation of 30 Units Solar Street Lights, Barangay Salvador Installation of 13 Units Solar Street Lights.
