“Educators’ Night” 
On the evening of February 9, 2015, the Municipal Gymnasium filled with people from all walks of life, to witness the astounding Educators’ Night for the opening salvo of the 67th Araw ng Calamba.
Before the shows started the crowds witnessed the almost 15 minute’s fireworks display at the Municipal Quadrangle. Then the guests and participants proceed to the Municipal Gymnasium for the proper program of the much awaited Educators’ Night. 
The crowds were amazed by a special dance performance by the Municipal Officials headed by Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva, Municipal Vice Mayor Jesus C. Enerio, Sangguniang Bayan Members together with the District Supervisor and School Principals from different schools in the municipality. 
Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva was the guest speaker to take the stage as she delivered her welcome address. 
Teachers from Calamba Comprehensive National High School were selected to perform first as they wowed the audience on their Arabian performance.
The second performers were teachers from Southwestern Poblacion Elementary School. 
The third performers were elementary school teachers from Singalat, Mamalad, Siloy and Bonifacio.
Philippine Independent School faculties and staffs were the fourth performers.
Faculties and staffs from Liberation Institute were the fifth performers.
The sixth performers were teachers from Elementary, High School and College Departments of Sacred Heart College.
The seventh performers were elementary teachers from Mauswagon, Langub and Calaran.
The staffs and faculties from College of Communication, Information and Technology performed a modern dance.  
It was then the turn of the teachers from Calamba Central School and Pestañas Elementary School to take the center as they praised the audience with their fabulous performance.
Last but not the least performers were teachers from Sulipat, and San Isidro Elementary School.
Other performers were elementary teachers from Bunawan, Dapacan Alto, Dapacan Bajo, Libertad, Magcamiguing, and Salvador.
The crowds enjoyed the almost five hours of impressive music and extravagant choreography.  
The opening salvo of the 67th Araw ng Calamba showcases teachers’ creativity through choreography and song performances.
Anchoring the program was Mr. Andrew Dapac and Ms. Abbie Lumayaga of Calamba National Comprehensive High School.
